hello lovely, how many times do you recommend doing a class before moving on? should they be done in any order? thank you
Hi C!
I think it depends on how well you pick up choreography and how much you WANT to learn new choreography. I have dance teachers who will do ONE class for a few weeks before moving on. They could totally move on, but choose to stay on one.
I do not have them in any order except to separate the beginner/intermediate videos. If you go to my little 2 min video in "live classes" called "June News" I explain that at-home fitness is different for all. Therefore, I can't make a schedule for all new subscribers or tell someone where to start, because you may be...
1. adding this to yoga
2. adding this to a 3-6 mile run
3. this is the ONLY workout you do
4. You only have 10 minutes to squeeze it in
I'd rather work with people individually if they need it!
I hope this helps! Keep the conversation going!
what a kind reply. my goal is to be as lithe as you. in that case is it better to do a class til i've more or less mastered it? this will more or less be the only workout i do, except i'll probably add on a bit of dance cardio through the week for a bit more fat burn. thank you.
Hi C!
Do a class 2-3x....The way you do the same dance combo in a jazz class all week before the teacher changes choreography.
I upload a full class AND a shorter video every week, so you will never run out of content! The idea is that you see he same moves (like in ballet barre) but they are mixed in different order and combined differently to keep your muscles changing! love the feedback!
